Is DuckyLuck Casino a Scam?

No evidence supports calling DuckyLuck a scam. It has run continuously since 2020, licenses games from studios that vet their partners, appears on no industry blacklist, and pays the large majority of players who ask to be paid.

It is also genuinely unregulated, which is a different problem and a real one. This page separates those two things, because most coverage collapses them.

What a scam actually looks like

The recognised markers of a fraudulent casino are specific:

• Systematic refusal to pay withdrawals across many players
• Pirated or manipulated game software rather than licensed studio titles
• Sudden disappearance with player balances
• Blacklisting by the major watchdogs
• Terms invented after the fact to justify confiscation
• No traceable operator entity

DuckyLuck matches none of the first five. On the sixth it is partially traceable: their complaint-procedure page names Online Casino Share group as the operator with a published compliance email, though beyond that the corporate structure is opaque and third-party ownership attributions conflict with each other.

What we found instead

No regulator, and no pretence of one that holds up

DuckyLuck's footer badge reads "Costa Rica Gaming Authority." No such body exists. Costa Rica issues business registrations, not gambling licences, and has no gambling regulator at all. This is not a scam in itself — the entire offshore sector operates this way — but a badge implying a supervising authority is misleading, and the practical effect is that no one can compel DuckyLuck to pay a disputed withdrawal.

The complaint record, in full

Casino Guru holds one complaint directly about DuckyLuck plus one about a related casino, amounting to 1,151 black points in their methodology. Despite that, their overall Safety Index for DuckyLuck is 7.9 — "Above average", and they place it on no blacklist.

The unresolved case, from 2020: a US player's withdrawal was blocked and account suspended after a substantial win. Casino Guru closed it unresolved because DuckyLuck did not provide sufficient evidence for its claims, and recorded the outcome as contrary to their position on banning betting patterns.

A prominent 2022 thread titled "DuckyLuck Casino withdrawal nightmare" resolved the other way: the player was paid in full and publicly retracted, having acted on incorrect information from a third party. Both cases belong in an honest account.

Across AskGamblers, Trustpilot, TheBigFreeChipList and public forums, the recurring themes are consistent and unglamorous: slow fiat withdrawals, repeated KYC document requests, and maximum cashout caps discovered after the win rather than before the deposit. One review outlet puts AskGamblers' resolution rate for DuckyLuck at roughly 60–70%, middling for the offshore sector.

Trustpilot sits between roughly 1.6 and 2.8 out of 5 depending on the source citing it. We note the spread rather than picking a figure, because the sources disagree and we cannot reconcile them.

Where players get caught

Most "scam" accusations we reviewed trace to terms that are published but easily missed. That is a fair criticism of the disclosure, not evidence of fraud — but the outcome for the player is the same, so they are worth stating plainly:

• Maximum cashout is 10x your deposit. Win $40,000 on a $500 deposit and $5,000 is the ceiling. This is published in the bonus terms.
• Wagering is on deposit + bonus. A $500 deposit with the 500% match creates a $90,000 playthrough requirement, not $15,000.
• Bonus money never becomes cash (7.6). It is wagering fuel.
• Free-spin and free-chip winnings cap at $100 (7.9).
• Dormant accounts are charged €100 a month or 5% of balance (5.12) after twelve months of inactivity, until the balance reaches zero.
• Advantage-play clauses (5.9, 5.14) permit account closure and confiscation of winnings on undefined criteria.

None of these are hidden. All of them surprise people.
