DuckyLuck Terms That Cost You Money

DuckyLuck's terms and conditions are published, numbered, and publicly accessible. They are also long, and several clauses have direct financial consequences that players typically discover after the fact.

This page collects those clauses with their numbers so you can check each one against DuckyLuck's own terms page. Verified 24 August 2026. Clause numbering shifts when they edit, so re-check before relying on any specific number.

1. Dormant account fees — clause 5.12

The most expensive clause in the document, and one almost no affiliate site mentions.

  • No login for 6 months → account classed inactive (notice sent 30 days prior)
  • No login for 12 months → account classed dormant
  • Dormant accounts are charged a monthly admin fee of €100 or 5% of the balance, whichever is larger
  • Charging continues until the balance reaches zero, at which point DuckyLuck may close the account

"Whichever is larger" is what makes it severe. A $300 balance is charged the €100 flat figure, not 5%, and is exhausted in roughly three months. A $10,000 balance is charged 5%, or $500 a month.

Avoiding it costs nothing: log in occasionally, or withdraw your balance when you stop playing.

2. Bonus money is never cash — clause 7.6

Match bonus funds are non-cashable unless DuckyLuck states otherwise. A $2,500 bonus is not $2,500 you can eventually withdraw — it is wagering credit. What you can withdraw is winnings generated by playing it, capped separately at 10x your deposit.

3. Free-money winnings cap at $100 — clause 7.9

Where a no-deposit or free-money promotion is under $100 and states no maximum, winnings are capped at $100. Where a free-spin bonus states no maximum, the same $100 applies. Excess falls away once the withdrawal is processed.

4. Free bonuses cannot be stacked — clause 7.10

At least one deposit of $25 or more is required between any two no-deposit-type bonuses. Claiming a second without depositing in between forfeits any winnings from it.

5. Deposits carry wagering even with no bonus — clause 5.2

Any deposit must be wagered 1x before withdrawal, bonus or no bonus. Depositing and immediately withdrawing is not possible.

6. Withdrawal limits — clauses 5.5, 5.6, 7.18

  • Minimum withdrawal: $25
  • Global withdrawal limit begins at $2,500, increasing with method and account status
  • DuckyLuck takes no responsibility for bank-side fees (5.7)

The starting limit matters if you win large: a $10,000 win may be paid across multiple cycles rather than at once.

7. Confiscation triggers — clause 5.14

Eleven circumstances permit DuckyLuck to confiscate a pending balance. Most are standard anti-fraud provisions — duplicate accounts, a card name not matching the account name, underage play, playing from a prohibited jurisdiction. Three are broader:

  • Withdrawing before a promotion has concluded
  • "If patterns reveal that there is a possibility that the player is using bonuses to mathematically get the edge over the casino for profit"
  • "If there is any suspicious activity on the account whatsoever"

The last two are drafted broadly enough to cover a wide range of play, and the criteria are not published.

8. The advantage-play clause — clause 5.9

Where DuckyLuck suspects a player is an "advantage" player using software or "unaccepted gambling techniques," it may close the account and deplete it of winnings. This connects to the "Skilled" player exclusion on the Free Chip promotion.

Casino Guru closed a complaint against DuckyLuck as unresolved in 2020 after a US player's withdrawal and account were suspended following a substantial win, on the basis that the casino did not supply sufficient evidence for its position. That is one documented case rather than a pattern, but it is the clearest illustration available of how these clauses operate.

9. Account closure at will — clauses 3.6, 5.13

DuckyLuck reserves the right to bar any player from an account "for any reason" and to close any account without prior notice. Clause 5.13 does provide that pending cash reserved at cancellation is returned to the player.

10. One account per household — clause 4.1

Not one per person — one per household. A second player at the same address must contact DuckyLuck first. Multiple accounts is a confiscation trigger under 5.14.

11. Marketing consent is automatic — clauses 4.3, 4.4

Registering opts you into marketing email. Providing a postal address opts you into physical mail. Unsubscribing goes through support rather than a preference centre.

12. Data may be shared to collect debts — clause 6.1

Personal information may be provided to third parties "to collect any money owed to the casino by the player," and to authorities in connection with fraud detection.

13. Big winners agree to publicity — clauses 5.10, 5.11

Players winning amounts that attract public attention agree to make themselves available for casino events, and DuckyLuck may publish a first name and last initial for promotional purposes. Clause 5.10 states the casino will respect privacy "to the player's satisfaction," which is not a defined standard.

14. Terms can change at any time — clause 3.2

DuckyLuck may adjust its terms to accommodate new bonuses and promotions, and it remains the player's responsibility to check back. There is no commitment to notify players of changes.

Why this matters more here than elsewhere

At a Malta- or UK-licensed casino, unfair terms can be challenged with a regulator that has power over the operator. DuckyLuck holds no gaming licence — Costa Rica does not issue them — so these clauses are effectively the whole of the governing law between you and the casino, interpreted by the casino.
